1.The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for Mpanda Municipal Council during the financial year 2016/2017. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Drilling of Seven Boreholes .
2.The Mpanda Municipal Council now invites sealed bids from eligiblecontractors registered with Contractor’s Registration Board (CRB) or capable of being registered in class five (5) and above for Drilling of Seven Boreholes
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board which is located at the Office of Municipal Director, Mpanda Municipal Council, PMU’s Office P.o Box 216, Mpanda-Katavi. From07.30am to 15.30pmon Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand) only. Payment should either be by Cash or banker’s cheque payable to Municipal Director, Mpanda Municipal Council.
6.All bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration form in the format provided in the bidding documents.
7. All Tenders in one original plus 3 COMPLETE copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the following address; The Secretary of Tender Board, P.O. Box 216, Mpanda, PMU Room No. 37, First Floor, Mpanda Municipal Council Headquarter Building at or before 10.00hrs on 25th July 2017. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Mpanda Municipal Council’s Council Conference Hall, P.O. Box 216, Mpanda.
8.Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, and bids not received, bids not opened at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
